me with much love and purpose.
About
me…
I am a wife to my splendid husband, David, with
whom I have a groovy kind of love, J a busy mom to three amazing boys, and a mostly self-taught artist living in
Tennessee. I have been creating since I
was very young. I remember watching my
dad (a wonderful artist and carpenter) take out a pencil and draw whatever I
would ask him freehand. I longed to
possess that ability. They say it’s in
your blood and I tend to believe that. I’m thankful to have picked up some of
his ability. Through the years I’ve found my creative strengths as an
artist…creating my own “purpose” if you
will. I love to paint, draw, sew,
silkscreen, batik, etc…..that list goes on and on. I’d love to have time to do it all. Most of my work usually involves linen and
canvas. I love finding ways to
incorporate my ideas onto different mediums.
Using my hands to bring my creative ideas to fruition is a real joy for
me.
I needn’t go any further than out my front door or
talking to one of my kids (my favorite creations) to find inspiration for my
work. Life is inspiring!
Thanks to my super man, David. for his
indispensable help with the site and all the pecuniary expertise he provides.
I am
indescribably grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has granted me
the ability first of all to live and breathe!
Any ability I have comes from Him. May my life in every way be a
testimony to His glory.
But
in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.~

On May
3, 2008 my precious younger brother Micah was helping a friend get his car out of
a muddy ditch. As he was walking along the side of the tow truck Micah was
struck from behind by a car traveling at 45-50 mph. He sustained severe head
injuries including an epidural hematoma, a subdural hematoma, and his carotid
artery was torn(doctors have told us people rarely survive that particular
injury,) Both legs were shattered and his right arm was broke. Please pray for
his recovery. We won’t know the extent
of his brain injuries for a couple months. After he is able to leave ICU he
will begin months of therapy. The
doctor’s have said he may not walk for 6 mo. Or longer. If you’d like to check
on Micah’s progress we have a site for him on www.caringbridge.com. Type in
